On Family Movie Days, tickets are available for cheaper and cost only €9.00 to both children and adults. The programme always includes latest releases and, occasionally, advance screenings of upcoming children’s movies. In addition to inexpensive films, younger viewers can take advantage of the Children’s Combo, which includes 1.5 litres of popcorn and a 0.2-litre juice box in a handy carry container for just €3.95.
When are Family Movie Days held?
Family Movie Days are organised once a month on Saturdays between 11.00 and 15.00 at all the BioRex theatres. The exact times and dates are typically announced on our website roughly a week in advance at the latest, and tickets become available at the same time. Once Family Film Day tickets become available, they can be bought in BioRex’s online shop and at the theatres’ ticket desks during opening hours.
Are any of the Family Movie Day screenings age-restricted?
The Family Move Day programmes are made as diverse as possible to include something for audiences of all ages. However, sometimes there are no films without age restrictions available, in which case the age rating of children’s films tends to be K7. Despite this, we do allow a three-year margin, which means that 4–6-year-olds can go see films rated K7 when accompanied by an adult.
